After adding a book, you can start capturing highlights.

Return to the Home screen and tap the yellow button in the bottom-right corner. There are three ways to capture highlights: Manual input, Capture text using the camera, and Capture text from a photo. For the latter two methods, the free plan has a monthly limit on how many times text can be captured.

Manual Input After selecting the book, manually type the text you want to highlight. If the book has not been registered yet, select Choose Book and register it first. Once you finish entering the text, tap Save Highlight at the bottom of the screen.

Capture Text with the Camera Use the camera to take a photo of the page containing the text you want to highlight. After the text is extracted, trace the sentence you want to highlight with your finger. If you highlight the wrong part, long-press the highlighted section to remove it. After selecting the text you want to highlight, tap the checkmark in the top-right corner. You will move to the same screen as manual input. Then select the book and tap “Save Highlight” to save the highlight.

Capture text from a photo Choose a photo from your photo library that contains the text you want to highlight. The text will be extracted automatically. Then trace the part you want to highlight, select the book, and tap “Save Highlight.”
